Do I need a certification?
Nope. You don’t need any certification. In fact, I believe certifications are overrated. However, you do need some form of training, like I offer in my “Life Coaching 101” program.
What exactly do life coaches do?
According to the International Coach Federation (ICF), coaching is “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

Your coaching business is equal parts of 3 elements — your coaching skills, your business skills, and your personal development. Like anything else, you can learn basics of business and marketing skills required to make this a business.
What if I get attached to my clients?
That’s what you learn in your training — how to observe and absorb. This is one of the key skills you need to learn to become a life coach and not compromise on your own mental health.
