Here’s the book review of Should I Hate or Love
Samaira, who seemed to be madly in love With Aayan, was still trying to be romantic with him. She believed that one day Aayan would marry her and make her complete with his unconditional love. But perhaps she hadn’t listened to Aayan properly when he said that Siya was the same girl whom he had loved since he saw her for the first time, and every night he slept just to meet her in his dreams…”
The story revolves around the Protagonist Aayan and his love, Siya. Then happens the entry of Samaira. The first twist comes when Siya dumped Aayan, even after all his love and efforts. The author takes the reader to the journey of finding out why Siya broke up with Aayan in the first place.
Kisnaa, the author of SHould I Hate or Love has written this beautiful book with utter simplicity and feelings. The language is lucid and easy to connect.
The character of Aayan is wonderfully penned down. The innocence of his character, when he worships Siya, or when he keeps her photo in his hostel room, is simply adorable.
The story line is simple, connecting and loveable. The plot is simple and effective. The author has earned full points in the ending part. The character of Samaira could have been explained more.
The story appears predictive at some points, but the cuteness of the protagonist, Aayan, overcomes it.
The poems by the author deserve a special mention here. The poems are well written and easy to connect.
The book cover and the title are mesmerising.
Overall an interesting read!
